LA MAISON DU CHOCOLAT
Brief
Create a strong, yet meaningful identity, brand territory and architecture concept in order to enable La Maison Du Chocolat to go from a craft brand to an acknowledged premium food brand.
Idea
In 2001, DDOI redefined the branding and story of La Maison Du Chocolat.
A genuine encounter between Robert Linxe, founder of La Maison Du Chocolat and Olivier Desdoigts, founder of Desdoigts & Associés in order to place chocolate to the level of ‘Art’, by creating a whole new approach embodying the know-how and vision of the chocolatier.
Elevating its standing to that of a high-end fashion house rather than a brand. All of the conventions of a high-end fashion house were applied with this in mind, showcasing and elevating its expertise, sensory experience, scenography and rituals.
